Mint is located in Bend, Oregon - a city known for it's scenic setting nestled in the mountains surrounded by world-class skiing and resort living. Mint was founded and created by Sara Goodrich and Kerry Bergler, who have united their distinctive strengths and individuality to create a business that will help cater to the most discerning clients with exquisite taste. Mint is a full service event planning company that can handle every detail to make your event reflective of your unique taste, personality and budget.
Sara Goodrich brings a cutting edge design focus to Mint. Sara has a keen eye for style as well as an extensive background in design, space planning, and event coordination. Before discovering her passion for events, Sara worked for international design icons Herman Miller and Knoll, where she gained immeasurable experience in the detail rich world of architecture and interiors. The time Sara spent involved in the meticulous orchestration, and detailed space planning of commercial interiors, lends itself greatly to her future success in event coordination.
The foundation of Sara's design experience is a bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Oregon State University. While in college Sara also studied architecture in London and Paris, and has since traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America. Sara enjoys painting, traveling, outdoor recreation and spending time with her husband and two children.
Kerry's diverse background helps her to provide a level of service to Mint client's that is unmatched. She exudes her flair for life in all areas of her work and her business management skills have landed her vast career success in many areas of business before partnering with Sara Goodrich to found Mint. Prior to Kerry's move to Bend, she spent over ten years working for the Schnitzer family of companies in Portland, which provided her a broad base of experience in everything from human resources to commercial real estate. During her tenure Kerry took on additional opportunities to plan and orchestrate events ranging from holiday parties for over 300 employees to weekend management retreats which required accommodations, scheduling meetings and cocktail hours. Little did she know that these occasions would equip her with significant tools for her career with Mint. She brings her detail-orientation, resourcefulness and creative thinking in approaching any special occasion.
Kerry has a degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University and is also a trained court appointed special advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children. She volunteers her time working with the local court system on behalf of the best interests for these children. Kerry has traveled extensively and enjoys numerous outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with friends and family, the latter of which includes her husband and two little boys.
Tiffany is Mint’s Senior Event Producer, specializing in corporate and private events. In this role, Tiffany brings her excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ensuring the clients feel great about their event. She began event coordination as a personal interest and has since developed into a skilled event producer.
Tiffany has had a wide range of professional experience that has played into her well rounded skill set of being a great member of the Mint team. She has worked in human resources, property management, retail and executive recruiting. All of these areas have the common thread of people services. She has brought her myriad of experience to help manage any type of event at Mint.
When Tiffany is not helping her Mint clients with their events, she is actively involved in volunteering at sporting events and school activities for her two daughters. She also enjoys entertaining, golfing and the active lifestyle that Central Oregon offers.
Maureen Kohal is Mint’s Client Development Manager. She is responsible for generating new business, and managing Mint’s client and partner relationships. In this role, Maureen brings a devoted eye towards working with a diverse group of partners, retailers and clients to deliver flawless events.
Maureen brings a diverse background that gives her a well-rounded approach to dealing with all the needs of a Mint client. From her expertise with a luxury homebuilder to owning her own floral design company, Maureen has developed, planned and managed lavish events and receptions. She takes a relational approach to planning any type of gathering and enjoys taking a common experience and making it a magical one for people to remember forever.
Part of Maureen’s passion is being actively involved with several key community groups and foundations. She has spearheaded the auction procurement process for the Central Oregon Community College Foundation (COCC); and developed a non-profit organization to help fund medical costs for a family member diagnosed with cancer. Both events resulted in large donations to worthy causes.
Personally Maureen enjoys traveling and has traveled extensively to exotic places around the world including: Thailand, Egypt, Germany, Australia and France.
